Awarded an order for electrical motors for Barracuda submarines n° 3, 4 and 5

ECA Group developed Asynchronous Motors 1 to 300 kw, meeting customer’s specifications and to take into account special constraints as environment conditions, and to reach high performances as noise and vibration levels.

They had been qualified  with the pumps of the first two ships.
Most of  these motors are directly integrated in the pump and operate as canned motors.
The delivery of these motors is scheduled over 3 years : 2016, 2017 and 2018.
