Turkish Mine Hunter TCG AKÇAY used ECA Group's PAP Remote Controlled Mine Discovery Vehicle (RCMDV) into the water to investigate a possible mine from a previous conflict during a Passing Exercise with the Romanian Navy.

Turkish Navy's Aydın class minehunter TCG Akçay discovered a mine probably a relic of Second World War while conducting training operations with SNMCMG-2 off the coast of Romania.
The NATO task force made its northbound passage through Turkish Straits mid january 2018.
The Navys used ECA Group's PAP to depose of the mine.
