ECA Group provides AUVs and maintenance support to Japan Coast Guards

ECA Group has performed the preventive maintenance service of two ECA Group autonomous underwater vehicles AUV A9-E used by the Japan Coast Guards (JCG) for hydrographic survey and physico-chemical sampling.

To support its customer within the life cycle of their two systems A9-E, ECA Group qualified engineering teams arrived in Japan. During several days,they processed in the vehicle maintenance support and the other system equipment checks.

This took place in two phases:

First, in workshop to carry out maintenance operations
And then at sea for sea trials

This service was successfully carried out.
