ECA Group's Paradrone UAV IT180 presented to several law enforcement government agencies
In early October 2015 ECA Group successfully demonstrated the effectiveness of its UAV solution for counter-drone application, the Paradrone application.
ECA Group has again, after demonstrations for the French Gendarmerie in July 2015, successfully proven the effectiveness of its UAV solution for neutralization of malicious drones and identifying its operators in the presence of several European and Worldwide Heads of law enforcement government agencies. During this demonstration, ECA Group's UAV IT180 has successfully in less than one minute located and tracked a malicious drone, attempting to enter into an area where a Ministry’s visit was simulated, and identified its pilot.
Due to the massive availability of drones on the market, homeland security forces have an increasing need for solutions capable to protect sensible sites from undesired flyovers of malicious UAVs.
Beginning 2015, ECA Group made a major contribution to this struggle by developing a drone able to locate, identify and track offending operators and aircraft ( press release 13 April 2015)
