Jane's : ECA Group pursues new opportunities by opening a subsidiary in Abu Dhabi
ECA Group has announced the establishment of a new regional subsidiary based in Abu Dhabi. ECA Middle East has been set up as a base from which the company will pursue new opportunities within the region.

"France’s ECA Group has announced at IDEX the establishment of a new regional subsidiary based in Abu Dhabi. ECA Middle East will be set up as a base from which the company will pursue new opportunities and provide support to existing customers within the region.
Several ECA solutions are already in service with GCC nations, including the PAP mine disposal vehicle, the UAV IT80 unmanned aerial vehicle, and the CAMELEON unmanned ground vehicle.
According to the company, ECA Middle East will initially be focused on growing business in the region. In parallel, it will also develop its maintenance, training and technical support service portfolio, and seek opportunities to set up strategic partnerships with local companies in the fields of robotics and training systems.
As well as addressing the needs of defence, maritime security and border protection agencies in the region, ECA Middle East sees opportunities in the oil/gas and hydrographic/ oceanographic sectors."
