Le mamouth: The Lyre firecrack a German torpedo using ECA Group's PAP solution

ECA Group PAP solution was recently used to dispose of an old World War II German torpedo, in the Var Region in France. ECA Group PAP MK6 is a self-propelled ROV dedicated to mine warfare with a high carrying capacity.

One of the 11 mine fighters (CMT, one of the three Touloners) of the naval Neutralized yesterday a German torpedo of the Second World War, opposite the Var. The Lyre went to a position recognized by another CMT last year, and then evolved its on-board robot, ECA Group's PAP to deposit an explosive charge, which functioned nominally. The same CMT will again be working on another historical ammunition, in 15 days.
