New contract in nuclear waste management activity

EDF entrusted ECA Group with the development of an automatic system to measure and characterize the radiation of nuclear waste containers.

This system is composed of two industrial robots, each equipped with dose-rate sensors to measure every side of the container before they leave the nuclear power plant. As this system is completely automated, it respects the ALARA approach and prevents employees from being exposed to radiation.
