ROV Planet: A NATO Navy selects ECA Group A9-M light AUV for MCM operations
ECA Group A9-M have been selected by another NATO NAviy to perform Underwater MCM missions. This Light AUv can be either deployed as a stand alone solution or be integrated in a full Mine Warfare solutions based on unmanned vehicles.

With its very low magnetic and acoustic signature, the AUV A9-M submersible drone is particularly adapted for mine disposal many uses. Easily deployable from a small rigid-hulled inflatable boat (RHIB), it operates safely, close to sensible mines. This underwater unmanned vehicle, designed by ECA Group, experts in navigation, communication or underwater imagery, complies with the most demanding specifications of NATO navies. It has been selected for its compactness and its operational performances.
The AUV A9-M can be used as a standalone system, but is also part of full Mine Warfare solutions based on unmanned vehicles called UMIS. Using this configuration, the detection and classification phases are performed by AUVs. ECA Group provides a wide range of underwater drones, as AUV A9-M, A18-M and A27-M, to meet the specific needs of Navies. Integrated in the Unmanned Mine Counter Measures Systems, they can be associated with Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) and MDV (Mine Disposal Vehicles) such as SEASCAN MK2 and K-STER C for identification and neutralization phases.
