ECA Group annouced to have secured a contract with the South Africa Armaments Corporation (ARMSCOR) to supply its Astrid diver tracking and distress monitoring system.

"ECA Group has secured a contract with the South Africa Armaments Corporation (ARMSCOR) to supply its Astrid diver tracking and distress monitoring system in South Africa.
The contract aims to deliver the system in 2017 and includes a training. ECA Group’s Astrid solution is a positioning and distress monitoring system used for diver’s safety It is designed to fit t the needs of diving schools. Astrid includes options such management of distress signals, generation and transmission of recall signals, and guiding of rescue."
