ECA Group was chosen by Ifremer to develop a new ultra-deep autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) for survey and inspection up to 6000 meters water depth

Ifremer selected ECA Group to develop a new ultra-deep autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) for survey and inspection up to 6000 meters water depth within the framework of the Coral Alliance, whose goal is to promote innovation and competitiveness in the marine industry. The AUV will be able to accomplish wide coverage acoustic mapping as well as optical inspection by hovering close to the sea floor.
