UT3 Issue 5 2017: Environmental ROV for Monaco
ECA Group suplplied The Monaco Oceanography Institute with a H800 ROV, specifically developed to operate at 1000 meters depth to run coral sampling and analysis campaigns.

ECA Group delievered a fully equipped H800 ROV, specifically developed to operate at 1000 meters depth to The Monaco Oceanography Institute to run a collection compaign for coral sampling and analysis.
"What can be performed by divers in very shallow waters requires a dedicated ROVs for deep waters"
The ROV is equipped, with a sonar, an acoustic positioning system with 3 transponders, a 5 function electric manipulator arm as well as a motorized 6 compartments special receiver, capable to store coral sample and its surrounding water.
The delivery and commissioning of the ROV took place early 2017, together with the training for the future operators.
