Partners on Barracuda program

Within the framework of the 2014-2019 Military Programming law, DCNS has staggered its needs for the Barracuda Program’s equipment. In this context, discussions started since more than one year between DCNS and ECA EN, an ECA Group subsidiary, have come, end of March 2015, to a successful conclusion.

Offering an optimization of the industrial process while reducing the risks of obsolescence and losses of know-how, the ECA Group solution has been appreciated.

Fourth Barracuda submarine MEP Equipment’s (Electrical Propulsion Motor) and TSCP (Secondary cabinet for DC Main supply) have been contracted in April.
