Factory Acceptance Test of the NG2 Steering console

Starting in November 2014, ECA Group realized the Factory Acceptance Test of the NG2 Steering Console, “Le Téméraire”, in the presence of its customer, DCNS Brest, and DGA’s representative (DQP/SQ department).

All acceptance tests have been passed successfully and the steering console has been approved.

It has been worth two years of work to manufacture this product including three months for tests platform validation.

This steering console is the second one to be delivered for the French Navy under the M51 SSBN modernization program.The next step will be the on board installation followed by the acceptance tests on board.

In February 2015 will be held a training workshop on the steering console.
