Unmanned Ground Vehicles

ECA Group’s has a long expertise in the design of unmanned ground robots (UGV). its systems are ables to carry out a wide range ofmissions in harsh and confined environments, including IEDD/EOD, demining and trap removal operations.ECA Group's unique play and plug system allow to quickly equip and delploy its range of  unmanned robotic solution on field. Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs)

For Air surveillance missions, ECA Group designs and provide top-of-the-art Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). These are used by many armed forces and civil protection forces worldwide to carry intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and recognition (ISTAR) missions. The Group's rage of IT180 UAVs can be used autonomously or in a tethered mode for permanent missions.

In the field of coastal security, ECA Group is committed to develop robotic systems able to collaborate, while reducing human exposure to danger. Recently selected by the Belgian and Netherland Navies to replace their MCM systems at sea, UMIS^TM is a unmanned system suite allowing to deploy a wide number of drones in a completely autonomous way while being coordinated from a standoff distance away from the minefield. With UMIS^TM, you can simultaneously manage: 

• Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USVs)
• Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs)
• Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs)
• Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs)

UMIS^TM system is a unique system also enabling mission planning and management by simulatenously assigning specific task to each drone part of the system, thanks to UMISOFT^TM, its comprehensive software suite.

For the Mine Counter Measures configuration, UMIS^TM integrates :

• Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USVs) to reach the minefield and deploy automonously a certain number of naval drones
• SEASCAN MK2 (ROV) for Mine identification
• K-STER C mine disposal system (MIDS ROV) for mine neutralization
• Embedded Automatic Target Recognition (ATR) in A9-M AUV or A18-M AUV, to reduce the MCM Missions time.
