Nivôse Factory Acceptance Test

The customer, STX France and SSF (Support Service of the Fleet of the French Navy) will be delivered and  able to use these operational material earlier than expected.  This will give them some leeway to plan the rebuilding schedule of the Nivôse Frigate whose propulsion operator’s console and engine room had suffered from fire.

The next step will occur on dock then at sea, between the Mauritius and Reunion Islands, to check the performance of the Nivôse frigate and thus allow the resumption of control of the maritime area in this exclusive strategic economic French zone.
