Robotics & Integrated Systems

R&D is at the heart of ECA Group investments in order to develop systems of drones. Its innovative unmanned solutions are optimized to successfully perform missions in various domains such as Oceanography, Hydrography and Underwater Mine Counter Measures 

At Pacific, ECA Group will be showcasing its range of  autonomous and remotely operated vehicles robotic solutions, as well as its fully integrated Unmanned Mine Counter Measures Integrated System UMIS suite for Mine Warfare : 

• Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USVs)
• Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs)
• Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs)
• Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs)

Unmanned Mine Counter Measures Integrated System UMIS is a fully automous system combining several types of surface and underwater unmpanned robots deployed automatically from an USV by a LARS system. From a surface vessel, AUVs and ROVs are used: SEASCAN MK2 for Mine identification and the K-STER C mine disposal system for neutralization. The system can be used collaboratively with the embedded Automatic Target Recognition (ATR) of ECA Group's  A9-M AUV or A18-M AUV, to reduce the duration of  the MCM Missions.

Ship Equipment & Protection

Another key element to complete its naval offer is its capability to design and supply different kinds of Systems & Equipment for Submarines as well as Surface Ships. These range from platform management, to command & control systems as well as propulsion & energy systems.

To face new types of underwater threats of mine warfare activities where signatures expose naval forces to the risk of being detected, classified and localized, ECA Group have developed system to reduce the accoustic and magnetic signatures of ships and submarines. Its modular ranging systems have been developed to meet MCM and ASW requirements, and ranges from magnetic signature reduction systems to multi-influence ranges solutions.

ECA Group will also present STERNA®  solutions which is an innovative UAV-based Magnetic Risk management Solution to be used for underwater acoustic and electromagnetic signatures reduction and multi-influence ranges.

Training Simulation

ECA Group is also active in the development Training Simulation for Naval forces. Its innovative training solutions ranges from Mine Warfare Data Management training, to navigation simulation, to Surface Ship and Submarine Tactical simulation, ECA Group soltuions are flexible and enables to perform training in different configurations: from single system for individual training to team trainers to the more complex multi-platform simulators.
