The latter has also opened an office in Abu Dhabi last May and therefore the role is to support French SMEs wishing to develop their activities in the Middle East.
"This strong presence puts French industry at the forefront of the European industries participating in the Dubai Trade Fair, which demonstrates the mutual commitment between the United Arab Emirates and the aerospace industry, a strategic development axis for this State," said Gifas. continues: "the United Arab Emirates has made aeronautics the cornerstone of their economic and scientific development, including in the space sector. The French industry is proud to be at the side, and contribute to the development, of this reliable and long-term partner that is the United Arab Emirates," said Eric Trappier, on the eve of the opening of the Dubai Airshow.
