Raphaël GORGÉ, Chairman

Raphaël GORGÉ joined Groupe Gorgé, ECA Group’s mother company, in 2004 after a ten-year career in finance and technology. He initiated and implemented the Group’s withdrawal from the automotive sector (70% of its revenue in 2004), then steered its development toward new areas of business. Raphaël GORGÉ has been the Chief Executive Officer Groupe Gorgé since 2008, he is also Chaiman of Prodways Group and ECA Group.

Guénaël GUILLERME, Chief Executive Officer

Guénaël GUILLERME joined the ECA Group in 1997 where he held the position of Director of the ECA Toulon site, before becoming the group's Managing Director in 1999. He was appointed CEO in 2006. In 2008 he left the group and founded a number of web site companies. He then returned to the ECA Group as CEO in February 2013.

Jean-Pierre GORGÉ, Board member

Before founding Groupe Gorgé (previously named FINUCHEM) in 1990, Jean-Pierre GORGÉ held various positions in public administration, including deputy Director of the chemical industries department of the French Ministry of Industry as well as SMI delegate and head of the regional affairs department at the Ministry of Industry.

Jean-Pierre GORGÉ is a Director of Groupe Gorgé.

Jean-Pierre GORGÉ has an armament engineering degree from the École Polytechnique and a degree from Science Po Paris.

Catherine GORGÉ, Board member

Catherine GORGÉ began her career as a process engineer at Atlantic Richfield, then joined the Technip Group as a project engineer. After working at the Industrial Projects & Services business at Groupe Gorgé, she joined the luxury sector. She currently runs the company CBG CONSEIL, specialising in business consulting.

Catherine GORGÉ is a Director of Groupe Gorgé and Prodways Group.

Catherine GORGÉ has an engineering degree from the École Centrale de Marseille and holds an advanced degree in project management.

Céline LEROY, Board member

Céline LEROY joined  Groupe Gorgé in 2007 as General Counsel, after having practised as an attorney at the Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer firm in the Finance and Mergers-Acquisitions departments. Céline LEROY has substantial experience in asset financing, mergers-acquisitions and restructuring for mid-sized and multinational groups in France and abroad.

Celine LEROY has the Certificate of Aptitude for the Legal Profession (CAPA) and a degree in Tax and Business law from Paris I University.

Jean-Louis SAMBARINO, Board member

Jean-Louis SAMBARINO trained as a Military Engineer (Ingénieur de l'Armement) and joined the ECA Group in 2001. He previously held a position as Head of Logistics Support at DCNS.


Corporate governance code

At the Board of Directors’ meeting on 3 March 2014, ECA Group decided to adhere to the Corporate Governance Code from MIDDLENEXT. MIDDLENEXT updated its Code in 2016. This Code can be consulted here and on the MIDDLENEXT website (
