ECA Group and NICOMATIC announced they will develop a new electric test solution for aeronautics within the framework of a partnership.

ECA Group and NICOMATIC have announced a partnership to develop a "new electric test solution for aeronautics". It will be used to identify defects on cabling for both civilian and military aircraft. This solution responds to an increasing need for control of "wired electrical links", which are increasingly being used in aircraft. "Their test represents a major challenge for production and maintenance," say the two manufacturers. They will formalize their partnership during the Paris Air Show, the opportunity for them to present this solution, called SmartCo. It will save operators time by enabling them "to carry out preventive maintenance and to detect faults due to the wired network more quickly".
