In the frame of its contract with Airbus signed beginning 2015 , the ECA GroupAerospace Division signed an over €10 million contract to supply a new assembly line for A320 front sections in Saint-Nazaire Airbus plant. The two first stations of the SALSA project (Ramp up A320) were delivered at ST NAZAIRE plant with 1 and 2 weeks in advance. It’s the result of six months’ work and coordination between Airbus teams (project and production), ECA Group and suppliers to define and integrate these “Customer inspection” in the A320 workshop without disturbing the production. This challenge is not over. Eight others stations must be commissioned in the 2 next years in the same workshop.
