ECA Group - Aerospace division: A new approach to aircraft maintenance

ECA group was awarded a contract with AIRBUS HELICOPTERS to provide electronic ground support equipment (eGSE) for a specific helicopter program. The TC200, an “off-the-shelves” ECA product based on T-Cell™ technology, is customized to cover scheduled maintenance operations on a carrier.

The TC200 AH GSE will be used, by AIRBUS HELICOPTERS customers or MRO service centers around the world, to perform scheduled maintenance operations on electronic and electric systems of the helicopter during its life cycle. The T-Cell™ technology embedded into the TC200, provides a unique compact and robust tool instead of 13 different GSE that were formerly used.

With the TC200 AH GSE, AIRBUS HELICOPTERS will offer to its customers a cost-effective and a flexible maintenance solution. Thanks to its modularity, the TC200 AH GSE could be widespread to other AH programs bringing a generic and rationalized maintenance solution.

Web-based user interface (possible use with every laptop, tablet or Smartphone), high flexibility, modularity, compact and robust design are the key benefits of the TC200 fitted to AIRBUS HELICOPTERS requirements.
