ECA Group’s avionics bus troubleshooting tool PUMP selected for several European aircraft manufactur

PUMP is a portable multi-bus reader-transmitter developed by ECA group which has been recently selected to equip most of the European aircraft manufacturing facilities and will soon start it’s qualification process as a Ground Support Equipment.

This solution will have various missions, such as :

• Real time avionics data monitoring, recording and replay
• Equipment communication simulation
• Communication spying
• Data loading operations

Its large touchscreen panel allows Engineer and technicians to navigate through an intuitive user oriented interface. Its compact and battery powered tool can generate and acquire ARINC 429, CAN 2.0b, RS232/422/485 and discrete signals to perform main avionics buses troubleshooting and equipment functional test.

This hand-held tool is fitted with an standard aircraft signal data base for engineering unit conversion that can be easily edited for an increased productivity.
