ECA Group's car simulators introduce Saudi Arabia women to driving and road safety

ECA Group takes part to a Nation-wide awareness-raising campaign in Saudi Arabia to introduce new drivers to the basics of road satefy after the announcement of the removal of the driving ban for women to be effective by June.

In September 2017 King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud signed a decree allowing women to apply for driving licenses. Women in Saudi Arabia will be driving from June 2018.

In this context, ECA Group contributed to a Nation-wide awareness-raising campaign led by the local General Directorate of Traffic to educate the new drivers and build road safety awareness.

ECA Group already well established in GCC countries provides locally adapted driving training solutions that will contribute to the training of hundreds of thousands of new drivers in a short time frame.

As part of occasional events organized within the framework of the national awareness campaign, ECA Group made available its car driving simulators to be tested in various places such as malls.

ECA Group also made available for demonstration a travelling trailer, equipped with 6 EF-CAR car driving simulators on a dynamic platform. These EF-CAR simulators are training tools designed for teaching road safety education, raise ecological and risk awareness. The trailer had already been part of Road Safety awareness campaigns in this country for public and private companies.

Thanks to their highly beneficial embedded training syllabus, to their renowned reliability and to the numerous historical references in the area, ECA Group driving simulators have been approved by local authorities.

Saudi Arabia has taken concrete steps to advance the road safety and gender equality agenda which in turn will boost the automotive market in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia .
