TechnicAtome contracts with ECA Group for power conversion solutions for next generation French Submarine (SSBN)
This month, TechnicAtome and ECA Group signed a major contract for the design, development, qualification and production of the electrical systems. Those systems will ensure the primary functions of the nuclear propulsion boiler room while complying with the high levels of nuclear safety requirements.
TechnicAtome selected ECA Group for its experience in energy conversion with innovative technologies in power electronics, as well as its ability to offer modular solutions allowing mutualisation on different equipment. All developments will be conducted in France, contributing to the nation’s sovereign capabilities.
ECA Group is a recognised player in power conversion and control/command solutions in highly constrained environments and with high levels of performances.
