This new order confirms the interest of the NATO Navies for light AUVs future MCM operations at sea.

Benefiting from very low magnetic and acoustic signature, the AUV A9-M underwater drone is suited for MCM missions. Easily deployable from a small rigid-hulled inflatable boat (RHIB) and complying with the most demanding specifications of NATO navies, it has been selected for its compactness and its operational performances.
Whether as a standalone system, but is also part of full Mine Warfare solutions based on unmanned vehicles, A9-m is easily adaptable. In its UMISconfiguration, the detection and classification phases are performed by AUVs, such as AUV A9-M, A18-M and A27-M, to meet the specific needs of Navies.
Integrated in the Unmanned Mine Counter Measures Systems, AUV can be associated with Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) and MDV (Mine Disposal Vehicles) such as SEASCAN MK2 and K-STER C for identification and neutralization phases.
