Discover ECA Group solutions for underwater missions in the field of Defence & Security.A focus is made about the development of an ultra-deep Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) reaching 6000 meters water depth with Ifremer.

Through its new contract this Ifremer, ECA Group will become the prime partner of the CORAL Alliance (Cooperative Off-shore Robotics ALliance). The AUV, branded A6K, will be able to perform wide coverage acoustic mapping as well as optical inspection by hovering close to the sea floor. Thus it will be particularly efficient for deep sea mining survey, oil / gas pipeline inspections, rescue missions and mineral resource exploration.
