ECA Group to supply a Pipe Cruiser system for sewerage inspection in Canada

ECA Group was awarded a contract for the supply for a sewer inspection Pipe Cruiser system for a private sewerage operator in Canada. The system will be delivered by June 2017.
Waste water networks require regular inspections to detect anomalies including clogging, or deteriorations in the structure of the pipe, such as cracks or defective sealing that would cause spillage into the environment.
It's in this context that ECA Group will supply a Pipe Cruiser System to an operatorspecializing in sewers activity sector and based in Canada. This equipment will enable to proceed to inspection of sewers pipes such as mainlines or secondary pipes network and will ensure a reliable diagnosis of hydraulic and structural conditions of the networks.
The system is a modular system for inspection of pipes from 150 to 2000 mm. It allows multiple configurations according to the diameter an enables to draw a precise diagnosis of internal conditions of networks.
ECA Group solution is operable with a swivelling head TV camera equipped with zoom and mounted on a multidirectional trolley. It is also able to supply pipe slope and real-time deflection measurement.
The ordered system will be delivered by the beginning of June 2017.
