Hydro international : Inspector MK2 links Unmanned Systems using wireless capabilities

Featuring this new capability, the INSPECTOR  will be able to act as an intelligent docking system for autonomous underwater robotic systems such as AUVs or ROVs, allowing them to be automatically deployed, recovered and perform other tasks including recharging, data download as well as fast transits.

Equipped of acoustic modem and short baselines for underwater communications and positioning, the USV performs underwater inspection and intervention that can be supervised by an operator based on a stand-off spot.

The unmanned surface vehicles fitted with down-looking sonar are suitable platforms for detection of in volume mines as well as obstacles (such as nets) for safe AUV navigation.
