ECA Group exhibits at Paris Air Show its new products in the field of RPAS. Among them, the Group presents its IT180 UAV, redesigned to increase the limit flight time and capacity.

It is a small UAV (Unmanned Aerial vehicle) originally designed for the French Army which is also used by firefighters. It is adesign a  twin-engine rotators to ensures high stability because all energy uses it to rise.

"We have now developed an updated version of this drone, which is what we are presenting , " explains Cyril Pedehontaa-Hiaa, Sales Manager.

The main difference with the previous version is how long it can last  during a mission. While before the maximum duration possible was 60 minutes, you can now reach two hours, during which you can carry to load up to five kilograms. 

The UAV can be applied to rescue, surveillance of land or fire control mission because, thanks to its infrared camera able to detect hot spots. 

"The use of drones is spreading in many ways, from military to civilian applications, and even border control," says the head of ECA Group, before adding that the English Channel used the IT180 UAV for monitoring possible intruders in the tunnel.
