Beginning of 2014, ECA Group has delivered to the Japanese Coast Guards two Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUV) A9.
These two light AUVs will complete the fleet of AUVs already deployed onboard the JCG vessels. Equipped with interferometric side scan sonar and other chemical sensors these vehicles will be used for seabed mapping and oceanographic operations in the coastal waters of Japan.
