ROV Planet: Extended Wireless communication capabilities for ECA Group Inspector MK2 USV

It is now possible transfer data of modules and communicate with other unmanned vehicles using the the Unmanned Surface Vehicle INSPECTOR. Thus, the USV has now the capability to serve as an intelligent docking system for underwater drones systems ( such as AUVs or ROVs), as it allows to proceed to their automatical deployment and recovery: I can also be used for recharging and data download, as well as fast transits.

Equipped with acoustic modem and short baselines for underwater communications and positioning, the INSPECTOR MK2 USV enables to perform underwater inspection and intervention tasks supervised from a crew in a safe spot.

It is equipped with down looking sonars are the ideal platforms for detection of in volume mines as well as obstacles (such as nets) for safe AUV navigation.
