ECA Group delivered an integrated solution for mine counter Measures to an asian Navy switching from from hunter to a new unmanned system. This will allows to cut operational costs and reduce human risks.
This Unmanned MCM solution is the first completely automated underwater robot demining system, Including EMDS (Expendable Mine Disposal System) whish is remotely piloted for the neutralisation sequence.
The USV is equipped with an inspection function using the K-STER I and a neutralisation function using K-STER C launched autonomously with an automated launch and recovery system (LARS) ordered through radio or satellite link from the Command & Control center.
