Al Defaiya: ECA Group unveils the creation of a subsidiary in Abu Dhabi "ECA Middle East"

"On the occasion of last IDEX/NAVDEX exhibitions (19-23 February 2017; Abu Dhabi, UAE), ECA Group announced the creation of its subsidiary ECA Middle East in Abu Dhabi.

ECA Group wins the trust of new customers in the region and the GCC countries in particular, and identifies numerous business and partnership opportunities in the area. ECA Group creates a new subsidiary in Abu Dhabi: ECA Middle East in order to be closer to its customers and to support them better.

The UAE and Abu Dhabi were selected to set up for having historical and recent customers and many business opportunities. Several ECA Group systems are already in service in the Middle in the area, among them: The PAP Mine Disposal Vehicle, the UAV IT180 Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, MVS Military Vehicle Simulator, CAMELEON Unmanned Ground Vehicle

This subsidiary will, in the first instance, develop sales for ECA Group in the Middle East. It will also focus on developing services such as maintenance, technical assistance and training in order to support its existing and new customers as well as setting up strategic partnerships with local companies in the fields of robotic systems and training simulation.

Thanks to the important ECA Group portfolio of Solutions and Products, ECA Middle East will be able to address many market segments in the fields of  Defence & Security, Maritime, Energy & Industrial Equipment as well as Training Simulation for customers such as Ministries of Defense (Navies, Land forces…), Ministries of Interior and Home Affairs, Coast and Border Guards… and also Hydrographic and Oceanographic authorities, Shipyards, Oil & Gas companies, training centers….

ECA Group robotics and training solutions, can be of great use for several countries in the area and ECA Group is confident that this first opening in UAE will lead to set up other facilities in the neighboring countries in the near future."
