CAMELEON E challenged by FCR in Lebanon

During this operation, which has also involved other EOD troops coming from Spain, Italy and Finland, the sharing of the skills to approach the IED, has been one of the objectives but it was also the occasion for the operators to practice on the dedicated equipment used in this type of operation. In this context, the team has used the CAMELEON E manufactured by ECA Group.

Sent in order to make a first observation of the car, using the several cameras installed on the platform, the CAMELEON E, equipped with its arm is able to open the car’s doors or break the windows glass in order to inspect inside the vehicle. Moreover, the CAMELEON E can also be equipped with several water disruptors available on the market in order to conduct the neutralization of the IED.

Through this exercise and the positive feedback, ECA Group is proud to show the operator’s trust into its equipment, illustrating the reliability of its solution on the field, during an operational situation and in hard environment.
