ECA Group Conference at Unmanned Maritime Systems Technology 2019

As part of the conference set, ECA Group will spead on May 8th at 12:10 pm To present its UMIS^TM - Unmanned Maritime Integrated System for MCM operations

In order to reduce human exposure to threats, ECA Group is developing UMIS^TM a fully autonomous integrated systems to perform mine counter measures missions at se. Using a common interface  for mission planning, exectuion and post-treatment, UMIS^TM allows to manage a wide range of naval drones part of the system to perform the task, while crews remains at a stand-off distance from the mine field.

UMIS^TM   is ECA Group latest innovation in the domain of mine warfare. This fully autonomous system is able to complete a mission by combining several unmanned maritime robotic solutions (AUV / ROV / EMDS) deployed automatically from a naval platform, using a LARS system. UMIS^TM allow to simultaneously use :

• Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USVs)
• Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs)
• Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs)
• Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs)

These naval drones, coordinated through UMIS^TM will carry out the missions in life-threatening areas. While conduction the mission, operators can stay at a stand-off distance from the minefield. From that safety spot, operators can run inspection, detection and neutralization of potential threats.
