ECA Group and Ifremer will work together to design a new autonoumous Underwater Vehicle dedicated to survey and inspection at 6000m depth.

Following an international call for tenders, Ifremer selected ECA Group to develop a new innovative autonomous submarine vehicle (AUV) capable of reaching a depth of 6,000 meters. On this occasion, Ifremer is setting up the Alliance CORAL (Alliance for the development of offshore submarine robotics), thus facilitating the development of the project with its industrial partners.
