ECA Group won a tender to develop a 6000m depth AUV for Ifremer, for survey and inspection purposes.

ECA Group won the international tender launched by the French Research Institute for the Exploration of the Sea (Ifremer) for the development of an innovative new autonomous submarine vehicle (AUV) to reach 6,000 meters deep. This submarine AUV will be used for mapping and inspection missions and it supposed to make its first dives in 2019 after 3 years of development.
